- (IR) Read aloud the Introduction to the graphic memoir Persepolis
- (WICOR) Students are to begin reading pages 3 “The Veil” through page 46 “The Party” and work on the Persepolis Graphic Organizer #1
- Ask students what it means to “identify” in the instructions?
- It means that in parentheses, they MUST list the page number, panel location and panel
- For example, if they are referencing the panel on page 4 of the bearded man speaking to an audience, it would be as follows:
